The historic Island Inn was established in 1895 as a bed and breakfast on the Gulf shores of Sanibel Island. Small white cottages still sit along side the newly renovated lodges. Continue on Treeline for approximately 2 1/2 miles and turn left onto Daniels Parkway. Drive under the I-75 overpass and continue straight ahead- crossing US 41 to Summerlin Road. Turn left onto Summerlin and continue 10 miles to the Sanibel Causeway USD6.00 bridge toll Cross over the Sanibel Causeway and turn right at the four-way stop onto Periwinkle Way. Continue on Periwinkle until you come to the intersection of Tarpon Bay Road. Take a left onto Tarpon Bay and continue straight to West Gulf Drive. Take a right onto West Gulf Drive and hotel is approximately 1 mile on your left hand side.
